In the installation Dynamic metamorphoses i'm dealing with the difference between the real body shape of my audience and how it merges with their imagined perception of it. By using a video camera and a computer, I translate their body shape into simple, moving elements that contrast their natural quality and project them back into the performing space. The result being organic forms with clear reference to the human body but unrecognizable as such. This way, I aim to explore the border between our physical being and its virtual translation. For this installation I build a corridor in which the viewer is confronted with his/her digital double. The technology creates new appearances and open new paths for new becoming in which the machine is disturbingly lively and we ourselves frighteningly inert.
